Dr. Santos believe that MS is a result of not only a genetic predisposition but also environmental factors that leads to MS. One of the most important factors is mercury body exposure. Mercury is the second most toxic metal on earth second to plutonium. Mercury wreaks havoc on neurological tissue and can lead to neurological diseases such as MS, ALS, Parkinson's and Alzheimer's.

As part as the MS treatment plan, patients are typically prescribed chelation to remove heavy metals, Glutathione to help restore anti-oxidants, Plaquex to help restore neurological health and supplementation.

Many patients undergoing this plan will achieve longer periods of remission and also may not have a remission at all if maintenance treatments are performed.
